The view of the Holterberg was leading for the design. A massive brick wall on the street side offers the home privacy in contrast to the rear that is completely made of glass. This creates a panoramic view. By shifting the storage room and the living area apart, a view through the neighborhood is created on the landscape behind. By lifting the house, the garden becomes part of its environment and the residents have an unobstructed view. A small patio with an opening on the street side provides contact with the neighborhood and also ensures that the kitchen is heated by the morning sun. The concrete roof rests on a few walls and three slender columns. This creates a free floor plan with an obvious outside-outside relationship with the private domain.....
