Beach House California | Ron Mann Design
RON DEFINED A FRESH LOOK FOR A CALIFORNIA BEACH HOUSE, BLENDING TRADITIONAL ELEMENTS OF CONSTRUCTION WITH CONTEMPORARY DESIGN. TRADITIONAL STUCCO WALLS AND A WHITEWASHED TILE ROOF BECOME MODERN IN HIS DESIGN FOR A WALLED PROPERTY OPEN TO THE PACIFIC. THE OUTDOOR AREAS BLEND SEAMLESSLYFUNCTIONING AS AN AREA FOR ENTERTAINING AS WELL AS A LIVING ENVIRONMENT. THE OPEN PLAN INTERIOR PERMITS SPECTACULAR VISTAS OF THE OCEAN. THE HOUSE WAS A REMODEL AND RON OPTED TO BUILD IN MOST OF THE FURNITURE, USING OBLIQUE ANGLES RATHER THAN SQUARE TO MOLD THE INTERIOR SPACE, HE COMPLEMENTIED IT WITH MEXICAN CHAIRS, ANTIQUE JARS AND FOUND OJECTS.
